Turn off Vector to stop him streaming data to the Cloud. Turning Vector off and on again also helps with minor intermittent issues you may experience such as seeing a status code.

  1. Turn Vector off by pressing his Back Button (the LED strip) down hard until it clicks
  2. Hold it for 5 seconds until Vector turns off

This is the same as Powercycling Vector.

Getting Started

Requirements for setting up Vector

  • A compatible device to run the Vector app – required for setup
  • A Vector Account – valid email address and account activation required
  • 802.11n 2.4 GHz WiFi network connected to the Internet via a WiFi Access Point (NAT router)
  • USB Power Source (adapter, USB port, power bank, etc.) with min. 5V=1A output

How to Erase User Data

Use this option if you would like to permanently delete Personally Identifiable Information (PIIs) such as images and faces Vector has met from your robot. Any previously installed Vector software will also be deleted but the current software will remain on the robot. To also delete the current software, use Recovery Mode, above. Note erased data cannot be restored.

  1. Place Vector on his charger and plug the charger in
  2. [If Vector is booting up, wait for the “V” to finish]
  3. Double click Vector’s Back Button
  4. Raise and lower Vector’s lift
  5. Turn his treads to move through selections (backwards to go up, forwards to go down)
  6. Raise and lower the lift to select the “Clear User Data” menu
  7. Confirm the selection and wait for Vector to reboot
  8. Once Vector completes rebooting, data will have been wiped from the robot

Например, попробовать Экспортировать ее без информации о расписании в файл, удалить из анки и импортировать из файла
Метод, описанный выше, сработает. Но есть более эффектный способ: заходите в «Обзор», выбираете колоду, выделяете ктрл-А все карточки (или только некоторые), «Редактирование», «Изменить расписание», «Поместить в конец очереди новых карточек». Или даже можно выбрать радиобаттон ниже.

А кто знает как на андроиде этого добиться? Можно в конце нажимать <- столько же раз сколько и карточек, но неужели нельзя проще?
Jack, колоду проходят не каждый день, обычно на это уходит долгое время. Недели, например. Что мешает сбросить прогресс на компе и синхронизироваться на всех устройствах один раз в месяц или год?

Я повторяю колоду из 50 карт сразу раза 4 доводя скорость до молниеносной. Зачастую закидываю колоды в телефон и делаю это в дороге да и вообще много что может мешать синхронизироваться с компа. Нет желания спорить о техниках обучения, есть только конкретный вопрос.

Jack, можно создать такую колоду, выбрать различные настройки, что-то даже можно ручками подшаманить. Колода пустая, заходите в неё, нажимаете сформировать — и колода заполняется. В эту колоду отбираются карточки из других колод по тем или иным принципам и исключаются из неё также. Можно пройти колоду какую-нибудь, а потом пройти её через специальную колоду. Можно даже не проходить основную колоду, а пройти сразу спецколоду. Там разные настройки. Покопайтесь в этой теме, уверен, что-то можно придумать.

А сбрасывать прогресс в мобильном — не знаю как, даже не искал, даже не интересно.

А так, вам бы лучше поискать другую программу, конечно, ведь Анки создан не для зубрёжки, а для интервальных повторений.

How to use Recovery Mode

Use Recovery Mode to force Vector to boot up on factory firmware. Doing this will not delete any user data or software that had previously been installed via Over-The-Air (OTA) update.

This may help with certain issues such as Vector failing to boot up, meaning he is unable to charge (this is indicated by teal Back Lights), or potential software issues, sometimes indicated by a blank screen. If you get a status code between 200-219, recovery mode will also help.

  1. Vector must on his charger and plugged into a power source (be sure to push him right to the back of the charger — you will see the LEDs flashing)
  2. Press and hold Vector’s Back Button for around 15 seconds in total until the rectangle furthest away from the circle LED lights up blueish white
  3. He will reboot and show «anki.com/v» on his screen
  4. Open the Vector app and reconnect to Vector
  5. Select the correct 4-character Vector identifier to pair the robot

Да, вы вводите данные ОДИН раз, и программа генерирует необходимое количество карточек с необходимой информацией на лицевой и оборотной сторонах.

Как это сделать. Для этого нужно копаться в настройках шаблона, или лучше — создать отдельный шаблон своими руками и понятным для себя самого.

Наверно, так сложно понять. Проще разобрать конкретный пример. Можем, разобрать ваш пример, постепенно, это дело растянется на несколько дней, подозреваю, если не больше.

Anki — эффективное изучение языков, уточню вопрос. Я захожу в «Обзор». Нахожу нужную мне запись. Нажимаю кнопку «Карточки». Открывается настройка шаблона карточек. Я его правлю, как мне нужно. Как мне приделать к этой записи второй (и желательно третий) шаблон?
Для примера приведу запись из моей колоды по сольфеджио.
Запись содержит три поля:
Интервал
Количество ступеней
Количество тонов

Мне нужно несколько карточек к этой записи.
Первая карточка:
Лицевая сторона: «Интервал, содержащий > и > называется >»
(На карточке выводится текст: «Интервал, содержащий 5 ступеней и 3,5 тона называется [. ]»)
Оборотная сторона: «>»
(На карточке выводится текст: «Интервал, содержащий 5 ступеней и 3,5 тона называется Чистая квинта»)

Вторая карточка:
Лицевая сторона: «Сколько ступеней в интервале >?»
(На карточке выводится текст: «Сколько ступеней в интервале Чистая квинта?»)
Оборотная сторона: «>»
(На карточке выводится текст: «5 ступеней»)

Третья карточка (примеры приводить не буду):
Лицевая сторона: «Сколько тонов в интервале >?»
Оборотная сторона: «>»

Так вот, сложность у меня в том, что я не знаю, как сделать для одной записи три разных шаблона. Эта волшебная кнопка должна быть где-то на виду, но я ее не вижу :(

How to restore Vector

Since Vector is Cloud-connected, any changes in the Vector app settings are sent from the App to the robot. Everything from the robot is sent to the Cloud (except photos, and volume and eye colour which you can change in the app settings). As such, you only need to log into your account to restore Vector. You need to do this after having Vector exchanged.

Note. You cannot restore anything, including people Vector has met, that has been permanently deleted by using Clear User Data.

If something has gone wrong, an error will appear on Vector’s face. These error happen if Vector’s hardware is bad, but some of them could also be software.

801

  • Rampost was unable to communicate with the body board at boot. This will show up before an 898 or 899 error. If the board shows just a purple light and won’t turn off, you need to wait for his battery to die. After that, turn him back on. If there is still a purple light, there could be a hardware issue with the body board.

  • Body board has a specific hardware fault. For all of these, try a reboot. If that doesn’t work, your Vector probably needs some fixin’.

  • An error occured when trying to communicate with the camera. If he is stuck on this error, go to recovery and clear user data. If he is still stuck, the camera may not be soldered on well or it could be broken.

  • Vic-anim is unable to open the display for writing. This is something you will probably never see.

Vector will occasionally display an error code (also known as a Status Code) on his screen. These Status Codes are usually nothing to worry about unless they happen often. For troubleshooting, please see this article: Why Does Vector Show An Error?

  • 800 — 999
    • If any of these Status Codes consistently appear, there could possibly be a hardware issue with Vector. Startup into Recovery Mode, Clear User Data, and use the Vector app to Reinstall Vector’s OS.
  • 700 — 705
    • These are issues triggered by the reading of an internal sensor. A good example would be Vector operating in a room that was too hot.
  • 200 — 219
    • If any of these Status Codes appear, they involve Software Updates or the Recovery process. Typically, retrying the Update will fix the issue unless there is a fundamentally more complex issue involved.
  • 1 — 10
    • These codes belong to a core Vector service that runs all of Vector’s other services. Most of these codes will never appear on Vector’s display.

200 Unexpected .tar contents
  • Tar file was corrupt
  • Tar contents did not follow the expected order.
201 Unhandled manifest version or feature
  • Unhandled section format for expansion
  • The manifest version is not supported
  • The OTA has the wrong number of images for the type
  • The OTA is missing a BOOT or SYSTEM image
  • The manifest configuration is not understood
202 Boot Control HAL failure
  • Could not mark target slot
  • a or b partition unbootable
  • Could not set target slot as active
203 Could not open URL

The URL for the link was invalid (check the link and make sure you can download the OTA on your local machine from the same link)

204 URL not a TAR file The URL used to initiate an update pointed to an incorrect filetype. Check the link.
205 Decompressor error The .tar/.ota file could not be unpacked- could happen if the .ota file is corrupted. Reboot the robot and try again.
206 Block error
207 Imgdiff error Delta payload error
208 I/O error
  • Couldn’t sync OS images to disk
  • Disk error while transferring OTA file
209 Signature validation error
  • Manifest failed signature validation
  • The aboot, boot image, system image, or delta.bin hash doesn’t match the signed manifest (files may have been modified)
210 Decryption error Encryption scheme is not supported.
211 Wrong base version Vector’s current version doesn’t match what is expected for this delta update
212 Subprocess exception The decompression engine had an unexpected, undefined error.
213 Wrong serial number The processor serial number (QSN) is not correct for the robot that the image is being applied to.
214 Dev / Prod mismatch Development Vectors can’t install production OTA software, and production Vectors can’t install development OTA software (make sure that you are applying the correct image to Vector).
215 Socket Timeout (network stall) OTA transfer failed, due to timeout. (There may be poor network connectivity)
216 Downgrade not allowed
  • The robot is not allowed to upgrade or downgrade from the current version to the new version
  • OS version name in the update file doesn’t follow an acceptable pattern (the version suffixes – for production, release candidate, userdev, and development – must match the already installed software)
