Very frequently we are struck to make SAP entries with the following error and gets hung. Again if we tried to enter all our entered 20 to 25 entries will disappeared / not saved. again and again we need to re-login SAP. :
error msg: SAP GUI for windows 730
SEP: connection to partner ‘103.255.xxx.xx:3299’ broken
WSAECONNREST: Connection reset by peer

SAPGUI 730 has been sequenced and is working fine on my Win 7 64-bit image, but on the Windows Vista 32-bit machines are receiving *Error — Please update saprm32.dll.
Has anyone else come across this issue?

Ok, So I guess you did the sequence on a 64-bit machine? The installer may have had a condition to only put the 32-bit dll on a 32-bit OS. If you sequence on a 32-bit system, I wonder if that will work on 64-bit? Or if you include the .dll in the same
folder as the application which is throwing the error?

First of all, I apologize if this is not the right place to post this question, but I was pointed here as the right place.
In my case, I’m a network engineer, so excuse my lack of knowledge about anything related to SAP, but the thing is that I’m trying to help to solve an issue with a user that, in a specific situation, is having problems to logon using SAP GUI 730 for Windows.
The situation is as follows:
When the user is connected to an IPv4 only network with the main NIC, everything works fine.
When the same user connects a second laptop’s NIC to a dual stack IPv4/IPv6 network, two things happen:
1.- Without doing anything, the user cannot login, getting the error described in the original post (see attached screenshot)
2.- If the user disables the IPv6 stack in the laptop’s second NIC (see attached screenshot), is able to logon again without any issues
In all cases, the communication with the SAP server is using the Laptops’s main NIC (that is IPv4 only)
My questions are… during the SAP logon process:
.- Is there exchanged information about the device NICs (IP address, DNS, etc..) of the end user’s device?
.- If so, what data is captured and from what device’s NIC (if has mode than one active at the same time)?
in a nutshell… I just want to figure out if the fact that one of the NICs is connected to an IPv6 network and gets an IPv6 address, is causing that during the logon process, by chance the application has captured info out from that NIC… resulting in an error during logon, triggered because the communication with the server is expected to be IPv4 only, but the server is dropping the request because either does not understand the received info or is not configured to accept it.
I appreciate if anyone can shed any light on this.

У меня образовалась проблема, прошу Вашей помощи так как пользователь уже достал меня. 
Так вот, установлен SAP GUI 730 на win7 prof, зараза вылетает если пользователь отвлекся и не работает с ним (последний вылет был, когда пользователь тупо свернул его), при чем не молча закрывая окна, а ругаясь, вот что пишет

Сервер SAP и клиент находятся в одной сети? У нас была такая проблема с маршрутизатором Netgear, который рубил установленные через него сессии по факту их неактивности в течении некоторого времени. |

SAP GUI Front End Installer terminates during the installation startup from the SAP Installation Server.
If the workstation does not meet the requirements, the frontend installer program terminates when you Install the package from the installation server. The NwSAPSetup Log does not explain what are the requirements are missing.
Here’s what you can do to find out the problem.
Launch (Double click) the installer file without any parameters on the workstation to see what are the requirements causing the installation program termination.
See the screenshot for inforamtion.
To continue with the installation….take out the components from the Installer/Package that you don’t need or fullfil the requirements and proceed with the installation.
